Services for Peggy Lynn Scott, 74, of Terrell, Texas, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at White Rose Cemetery.

Peggy passed away Friday, May 19, 2022, in Dallas, Texas.

Peggy was born on June 19, 1947, in Edgewood, Texas, to the late Oree and Barnett Tidwell. She graduated from Edgewood High School in 1965. Peggy married her late husband Clyde Scott on December 16, 1965, and shared 55 years of marriage. She lived in the Terrell area most of her life. Over the years Peggy worked at American National Bank, Kinion Furniture and Madix where she retired in 2012. She enjoyed arts and crafts, loved cooking, and having family dinners.

Preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Peggy is survived by her son Kevin Scott and wife Jayna of Rockwall; brothers, Bernard Tidwell and wife Vicki of Edgewood and David Tidwell and wife Tammy of Edgewood; sister Margaret Arnold of Edgewood; aunt Peggy Kinney of Wills Point; many nieces and nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
