Peggy LaRue Skinner, 79, of Canton, Texas passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, in Dallas, Texas.

Peggy was born on July 4, 1943, to the late Billy and Pauline Henry in Mansfield, Arkansas. She was raised in Dallas. Peggy moved to Canton from Terrell one year ago. She was of the Christian faith. She was married to her late husband William A. Skinner for 27 years. She was the owner of 3 States Game Club for 15 years. Peggy enjoyed playing the lottery, going to the casinos, loved music, addicted to cooking shows and reading recipes but did not cook.

Peggy leaves behind her son Billy Colvin and wife Wendy of Wills Point; daughters Donda Anderson of Canton, Sheree Newton of Canton, Wendy Skinner and husband Tommy of Terrell, Donna Looper of Wills Point and Carol Tomlin of Wills Point; brothers Bobby Henry and wife JoJo of Houston and Jimmy Henry and wife Valerie of Houston; along with 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son David Chris Skinner; grandchild Blake Skinner, sister Patricia Applewhite-Dimon; and brother Sonny Henry Jr.
