Phillis Mae Holderfield 65, of Wills Point, Texas passed away at her residence on October 18, 2022.

Phillis was born on September 8, 1957, in Dallas, Texas to the late Clinton and Lovina Elizabeth Atkins. She was one of four children. Phillis graduated from North Mesquite High School. She went to school to become a Registered Nurse and worked in the profession for over 20 years. Later retiring from Mesquite Community Hospital. Phillis married her late husband Timothy Holderfield in 1981. She was of the Baptist faith. Phillis loved horses and Dogs. Elvis Presley was her favorite idol. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Phillis leaves behind her son Robert Holderfield and wife Mercel Ann of Killeen; daughter Jeanette Rogers and husband John of Wills Point; grandchildren, John Jr, Jaxon, Jett, Mila, and Robert Eli; brother Tommie Barham; sister Connie Dunlap; Uncles, Edwin Guy Taylor, and Glenn Eugene Taylor; and Aunt Oleta Faye Wilson; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Phillis is preceded in death by her parents Clinton and Lovina Elizabeth Atkins; and husband Timothy Holderfield.
