Procoro Hernandez, known by many as George, left this world on Sunday, November 17, 2019. He was born April 9, 1963, in Jocoque, Guanajuato, Mexico to Alberto Hernandez and Magdalena Merino Hernandez.
He leaves behind his wife, Diane Forlidas Hernandez, who was honored to share 17 years with him. He also leaves behind his children, Matthew Hernandez and husband Alan, and Brazos Kight; stepchildren, Zack Willmore and wife Carrie, Tiffany Willmore and husband Chris Webster, Aubrey Jones and wife Amanda, Randall Jones and Nesby Bostick; siblings Juan Hernandez and wife Ruth, Trini Hernandez and wife Theresa, Caro Hernandez Zavala and husband Luis, Elia Ramirez and husband Augustine, Norma Luna and husband Ranulfo, Veronica Monroy and husband Octavio, Gilbert Hernandez and fiancé Valentina, Leni Vazquez and husband Luis; brother in laws, Nick Forlidas and wife Jade, Charles Forlidas and wife Susan; many nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews; and other family members.
Procoro was a God honoring man who leaves a legacy of helping others and putting others' needs before his own. He loved his family and friends, and was a true outdoorsman. He always had a beautiful smile to match his heart. He worked as a lineman with J&L Utilities for over 37 years and was known to make magic happen with power lines. He sought out rescue in many storms and kept watch over many natural disasters to ensure others had what they needed.
Public visitation will be at Allan Fuller Funeral Home on Thursday, November 21, 2019, from 2:00pm-6:00pm with a Rosary to follow. Funeral services will be at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Wills Point, Texas, on Friday, November 22, 2019, at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations to be made in his memory to St. Luke's Catholic Church located in Wills Point, Texas.
