Obituary

Funeral services for Rachel Nicole Vann, 26, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Pastor Jeremy Shuck and Pastor Elwyn Campbell officiating.  Interment will be at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point.
She passed away Wednesday afternoon, June 5, 2019, at Medical City Hospital in Plano.
Rachel was born on November 4, 1992, in Dallas, the daughter of Gary Vann and Karen Malone Carlisle.  She was raised in Kaufman and was a graduate of Kaufman High School in 2012.  On March 13, 2013, she married Ryan Stokes.  One and a half years ago, she moved to Wills Point.  Rachel was a homemaker and in her spare time, she enjoyed crafts, skating and watching Harry Potter movies.  She was a great mother and loved taking care of her three children.  Rachel was a strong advocate for children with Prader-Willi Syndrome.
Preceded in death by her grandparents, Ruth Vann, Marvin & Dorothy Malone and Mary Carlisle and a son, Jason Mott.
Rachel is survived by her husband, Ryan Stokes, of Wills Point; father, Gary Vann, of Kaufman; mother, Karen Carlisle & Dewayne, of Kaufman; two sons, Kaleb Stokes, 5, of Wills Point and Jacob Stokes, 2, of Wills Point; daughter, Adalynn Stokes, 2 months, of Wills Point; two brothers, Josh Smalley, of Terrell and Joe Carlisle, of 29 Palms, California; sister, Katie Dodson, of Dallas and grandparents, David Vann, of Wills Point and Marvin Carlisle, of Wills Point.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service.
