Ralph Dewilton
Bryan
July 14, 1948 – September 30, 2025
Ralph Dewilton Bryan Jr., 77, passed away on September 30, 2025, in Cypress, Texas. Born on July 14, 1948, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, Ralph was raised in the Houston area and remained deeply connected to his roots throughout his life.
A proud graduate of Spring High School's Class of 1966, Ralph pursued higher education with dedication and purpose. He attended both the University of Texas at Austin and Sam Houston State University, ultimately earning a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. His academic journey laid the foundation for a successful career in computer science.
Ralph applied his talents as a computer scientist at Coastal States and later at Stalsby & Wilson, where he worked until his retirement. His work reflected not only technical skill but also a thoughtful approach to problem-solving and collaboration.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Ralph lived a life rich with passion and connection. He was an avid golfer for many years and found great joy on the fairways. A lover of college football, he rarely missed watching a game during the season. His adventurous spirit led him to become a pilot—an experience that brought him immense satisfaction and freedom. He also had a deep appreciation for computer programming, continuing to explore new technologies even after retirement.
Ralph cherished time spent with his close-knit group of friends and held those relationships dear throughout his life. Above all else, he loved his family deeply. He took special pride in being an uncle to his nieces and nephews, sharing laughter, wisdom, and unwavering support with each of them.
He is lovingly remembered by his brother Larry Bryan and wife Perla; sisters Mary Litwin and husband Bruce, and Betty Bailey and husband Mitch; nieces Elizabeth Langton, Kirstin Litwin, and Monica Hernandez; nephews Jacob Litwin, Luke Bailey, Lane Bailey, Bryce Litwin, and Bill Hernandez; as well as numerous great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents Ralph Dewilton Bryan Sr. and Charlotte "Lottie" May Bryan (Howie); nephew Doug Litwin; and many extended family members who held special places in his heart.
Those who knew Ralph will remember him for his generosity, sharp wit, kind nature, and enduring loyalty to those he loved.
