It is with profound respect and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Raymond Lenville Hargrove, a devoted family man, esteemed professional, and proud veteran, who departed this life on May 11, 2026, in Canton, Texas. Born on February 5, 1940, in Breckenridge, Texas, Raymond’s journey through life was marked by steadfast dedication, unwavering love, and a legacy of wisdom and thoughtfulness.

Raymond was a proud graduate of Wills Point High School, class of 1958, where the foundation of his character and values was firmly established. From there, he answered his nation’s call to serve with honor and courage, entering the United States Navy on January 12, 1959. He valiantly served until January 11, 1965, including active duty during the Vietnam War, exemplifying the spirit of service and sacrifice.

Following his military service, Raymond pursued a distinguished career as an Engineering Coordinator at Rockwell International Corporation in Richardson, Texas. His commitment and expertise contributed to the success of the company until his retirement in 2002. Throughout his professional life, he was known not only for his technical acumen but also for his loving, wise, and thoughtful nature.

Raymond’s personal life was enriched by his marriage to Joann Bosler, whom he wed on December 19, 1981, in Dallas, Texas. Their union was a testament to enduring partnership and love, lasting until Joann’s passing in 20XX. Their shared life was filled with cherished moments and mutual support.

An avid organizer, Raymond took joy in bringing order and clarity to the complexities of life, a reflection of his thoughtful approach and meticulous nature. These qualities were mirrored in his relationships with family and friends who treasured his kindness and wisdom.

Raymond is survived by his beloved son, Alex Jason Hargrove, and daughter-in-law Stephanie of Palm Bay, Florida; his cherished daughter, Holly Marlene Tripp, and her husband Dusty of McKinney, Texas; and his adored granddaughter, Sydney Carter Tripp. He also leaves behind his brother, John P. Hargrove, and wife Pam of Red Oak, Texas; his sisters Elizabeth Rinks of Wills Point, Judith Liston of Arlington, Texas, and Linda Kelley of Wills Point; as well as a host of nieces and nephews who carry forward his legacy.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joann Bosler; his parents, Louie L. "Bud" Hargrove and Meredith (Wilson) Hargrove; and Yvonne McMahon, the mother of his children.

Raymond Lenville Hargrove’s life was marked by dedication to family, country, and career. His presence brought comfort and guidance to those who knew him, and his memory will remain a treasured beacon of love and wisdom for all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be remembered with deep respect and lasting affection.
