Rebecca "Becky" Scott Davis was born on November 5, 1932 in the Board Community of Wills Point on the Scott farm. She was the daughter of Robert Riley "Gabe" Scott and Susanna Scott. She was raised in Wills Point and graduated from Wills Point High School in 1949. She attended the University of North Texas. In 1951, she married William "Bill" Burnside, with whom she had three children. In 1971, she married Don R. Davis. Becky worked for the government in classified matters and also at NASA and L-3. She was passionate about gardening and canning and was a member of Board Elwood Home Demonstration Club.

She passed away early Friday morning, December 20, 2019 at East Texas Hospice in Tyler.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Gabe and Susanna Scott, sister, Ruby Scott Anders and three brothers, Bill Scott, Robert Scott and Benny Scott.

Becky is survived by her husband, Don R. Davis of Wills Point, daughter Susan Sledge and husband Buddy of Edgewood, daughter Lana Hughes and husband Jim of Anna, son Kris Scott and wife Heather of Wills Point, grandchildren, Brandon, Jennifer, Erica and Kevin, great-grandchildren, Bethany, Bradley, Cooper, Braxton, Aiden, Olivia, Maxwell and Evie. More survivors are three stepsons, Gary Davis, Eddie Davis and Billy Davis.

The family will receive visitors on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at 1 PM with the service following at 2 PM at Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point
