Funeral services for Charles Richard "Rick" Joyce, 65, of Edgewood, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 8, 2017, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Bro. L.A. "Pokey" Goodson officiating. Interment will follow at Small Cemetery in Edgewood.

He passed away late Tuesday evening, December 5, 2017, in a Tyler hospital.

Rick was born November 2, 1952, in Edgewood, the son of Charles Ralph Joyce and Patricia Ann Jones Joyce. He was raised in Edgewood, where he graduated from high school in 1970. Rick had previously been married to Cindy Vines for thirty-five years. On February 12, 2016, he married Natalie Hassler. Rick retired from Trane HVAC in 2014, after working there for forty-three years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and ranching. He was of the Baptist faith.

Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Patricia Joyce.

Rick is survived by his wife, Natalie Joyce, of Edgewood; son, Scott Joyce & wife, Paige, of Ft. Worth; daughter, Melanie Garcia & husband, Jose, of Tyler; brother, Steve Joyce, of Edgewood; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn Garcia, Aiden Joyce, Kelsey Garcia and Landry Joyce; in-laws, Kerry & Mary Hassler, of Spring; nephew, Samuel Joyce, of Grand Saline; niece, Jamie Cooper & husband, James, of Lindale; other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to funeral service on Friday.
