A Celebration of Life for Rita Carol Ellis, 67, of Wills Point, is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016 at the Pondarosa Resort south of Wills Point. Arrangements are under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

She passed away early Wednesday morning, June 15, 2016, in a Tyler hospital.

Rita was born December 7, 1948, in Texarkana, Texas, the daughter of Charles Lee Nine and Nina Vernel Larey Nine. On January 17, 2002, she married Eric Ellis in Las Vegas, Nevada. Rita was a caring person and social butterfly. She lived in Texarkana, Arkansas prior to moving to Wills Point seventeen years ago.

Preceded in death by her parents, Charles Lee and Nina Vernel Nine; husband, Eric Ellis on March 25, 2007 and a brother, Larry Nine.

Rita is survived by her two daughters, Cindy Harvin, of Wills Point and Brenda Adams & husband, Jimmy, of Texarkana, Arkansas; sister, Sandra Plant & husband, Freddy, of Texarkana, Arkansas; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
