Funeral services for Robert Wilson Akins, 51, of Wills Point, are scheduled for Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 10 AM at Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point with Pastor Jim Graham officiating. Robert passed away August 11, 2019. He was born July 20, 1968, in Terrell, TX, the son of Alvin Perry Akins and Joyce Marie West Ledbetter. He was raised in Terrell and in 1986, he graduated from Terrell High School. He also attended and graduated TVCC with an associate degree in business. Robert had been employed by Channell Communication Corp in Rockwall. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, being outdoors, and guns. He was a member of the Leather Necks and Los Miradores Motorcycle Clubs. Robert is preceded in death by his brother, Lester Swift; father, Alvin Akins; paternal grandparents, Edna and Willie Akins; Aunt Doris Maddox;

He is survived by his mother, Joyce Ledbetter and husband Clark; son, Cody Akins and partner,Amanda Clancy; daughters, Ashley Akins and partner, Jose Hernandez and Felicia Akins; sister, Stella Akins; grandchildren, Celeste, Isabella, Laila; maternal grandparents, Melvin and Aldean West; and his lady Lorrie Lamb
