Roland Joseph Baldoza, 67, of Denton, Texas passed away on April 12, 2023.

Roland was born on March 10, 1956 in Austin, Texas.  He grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and in Dallas, Texas.  He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1974 in Dallas, Texas.  Roland continued his education at the University of North Texas where he joined the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity.

Throughout his life he had many successful businesses including Roland Baldoza Painting.

Roland was known for his humor, smile, and Christian faith. Roland enjoyed sports and playing softball, he loved to read in his free time.  One of his favorite verses was Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength"

He is preceded in death by his parents Edward Menchaca Baldozo and Juanita Baldoza, grandmother Elvira Carlin of Austin, and brother Michael Baldoza of Austin.

He is survived by his sister Nancy Roberts, husband John; niece Grace Roberts of Wills Point, nephew Preston Roberts and wife Baylee of Royce City.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, April 21, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. at the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity House located at 929 Maple St. Denton, Texas 76201
