Ronald Gene "Rocky" Kespohl, 68, passed away on November 5, 2025, in Wills Point, Texas. Born on September 15, 1957, in Walla Walla, Washington, Ronald lived a life marked by independence, creativity, and a deep love for his family.

A self-employed craftsman, Rocky found joy and fulfillment in carpentry—a pursuit that was both his profession and his passion. Whether building with his hands or shaping wood into something beautiful and lasting, he embraced the process with dedication and pride. His work often reflected his appreciation for nature and the outdoors, where he found inspiration and peace.

Rocky's adventurous spirit was evident in many aspects of his life. He had a gypsy soul and a free-spirited charm that made him unforgettable to those who knew him. His motorcycle was more than just a mode of transportation—it was an extension of his identity. The open road brought him joy and clarity; it was where he felt most alive. Music also played a central role in his life—he enjoyed playing both the drums and guitar.

He had a fondness for western shows and never turned down a sweet treat—his sweet tooth was well known among family and friends. Rocky's personality was as unique as it was endearing: adventurous yet grounded, mysterious yet warm-hearted. He possessed a unique, honorary charm that set him apart.

Above all else, Rocky cherished his family. He is survived by his mother, Sharon Kespohl; three daughters: Katy Phillips and her husband Matt; Karrie McBride and her husband Shannon; Kellie Stout and her husband Casey; one sister, Jody Potter; seven grandchildren: Emma Phillips, Madeline Phillips, Eleanor Phillips, Jane Johnson, Laurel Stout, Cora Stout, and Kellen Stout; one great-grandchild, Adlee List; the mother of his daughters, Kathy Crow; and his companion of ten years, Robin Mann.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Eugene Kespohl.

Rocky's legacy lives on through the lives he touched—his children and grandchildren who carry forward pieces of his spirit—and through the craftsmanship he left behind. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and may the echo of his laughter ride forever on the wind.

The family will honor the life of their beloved privately, without holding a public service or gathering.
