Rubye Janelle Wood, of Edgewood, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at the age of 94, in her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Rubye was born on October 10, 1926, in Longview, Texas to the late Bunie and Seymour Troxel. She was raised in Gladewater, Texas. Marrying the love of her life Gordon C. Wood on February 2, 1946 in Longview, Texas. They moved to Edgewood from Dallas in 1997. Rubye worked at Sears for many years, retiring in 1985. She enjoyed quilting and crocheting.

To cherish her memories, Rubye leaves behind her husband Gordon Wood and son Douglas L Wood.

Rubye is preceded in death by Samuel G Wood, F Dwight Wood and David A. Wood.
