Funeral services for Russylea Hendrix Caple, 91, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at the Wills Point Church of Christ with Mr. Russell Harris and Mr. Alvis Nichols officiating. Interment will follow at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.
She passed away Saturday afternoon, January 7, 2017, in Wills Point.
Russylea was born January 14, 1925, in Edgewood, the daughter of Charles Alexander Hendrix and Arizona Wade Hendrix. She was raised in the Morince Community north of Edgewood. On June 23, 1946, she married Solon South Caple, Jr. in Dallas. Russylea loved her family very much and always looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, working in her yard and eating ice cream. She lived in Dallas prior to moving to Wills Point in 1977. Russylea was a faithful member of the Wills Point Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Arizona Hendrix; husband, Solon S. "Tex" Caple, Jr. on September 19, 2001 and three sisters, Francis Allen on February 24, 1988, Pauline Cerul on June 24, 1992 and Natalie Scott on June 30, 2001.
Russylea is survived by her two sons, Jay Caple & wife, Deborah, of Arlington and Charlie Caple & wife, Sara, of Alba; four grandchildren, Jazmine Farmer & husband, Ronnye, of Moore, Oklahoma, Carlos Caple, of Bozeman, Montana, Carlea Caple, of Arlington and Andie Caple, of Arlington; two great-grandchildren, J.C. Farmer and Scout Farmer; other relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
