Selma Rose Baker, of Wills Point, TX, passed away surrounded by her loved ones at her home on Friday, May 22, 2020, at the age of 89.

Selma was born in Wills Point, TX, to the late Willis and Linnie York. A lifelong resident, Selma grew up and attended school in Wills Point. She was married to the love of her life, Leon Baker on February 12, 1953 in Wills Point. She enjoyed sewing, coloring, reading, and gardening.

To cherish her memories, Selma leaves behind her son, Tommy Baker and wife Jan of Wills Point; daughter in law, Carol Baker; daughter Katie Baker; six grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; a special thank you to Sarah Jackson for taking care of both Mr. and Mrs. Baker.

Selma is preceded in death by her loving husband; parents;  brother, Bobby York; son, David Baker; and sister Dorothy Hunt.

Family will be accepting guest on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Allan Fuller Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Allan Fuller Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at allanfullerfuneralhome.com.
