Sherri Starr, 57, of Wills Point, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at her residence.    No services are planned at this time.  Arrangements are under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Sherri was born January 6, 1961, in Ft. Worth, the daughter of James Finis Gentry and Ellinita Marie Helmer Gentry.  She was raised in Corsicana, where she attended public school.  Sherri was married to Jasper Starr, Jr. for fourteen years.  She was formerly employed by Wills Point I.S.D. and later at the Van Zandt Newspaper, retiring early due to her failing health.  Sherri enjoyed crocheting and making blankets.  She lived in Colleyville prior to moving to Wills Point twenty years ago and was of the Catholic faith.

Sherri is survived by her mother, Ellinita Martine & husband, Ike, of Rosebud; father, James Finis Gentry & wife, Carol, of Colleyville; son, William Sacks & wife, Samantha, of Topeka, Kansas; daughter, Michelle Starr, of Edgewood; two sisters, Shelli Gentry-Rodriguez & husband, Ismael, of Seagoville and Terri Lawrence & husband, Terrell, of San Antonio and two grandchildren, Heloise Sacks and Cass Sacks.
