Funeral services for Shirley Ann Shaw, 78, of Aubrey, formerly of Garland, Wills Point and Quinlan, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Bro. Tim Mabe officiating. Interment will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Quinlan.
She passed away Sunday afternoon, April 19, 2015, at her residence in Aubrey.
Shirley was born January 11, 1937, in Wills Point, Texas, the daughter of John Henry Langford and Gladys Mae Dixon Langford. She was raised in Quinlan and Wills Point. Shirley was married to Earnest Roy Shaw for many years. She enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, gardening and yard work. She was of the Baptist faith.
Preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Gladys Mae Langford; brother, Benny Langford, infant sister, Wanda Jean Langford and a granddaughter, Angela Bennett.
Shirley is survived by five sons, Bobby Shaw & wife, Lena, of Edgewood, Tommy Shaw, of Rockwall, James Shaw & wife, Sandra, of Aubrey, David Shaw & wife, Cheryl, of Wills Point and Chris Shaw, of Aubrey; daughter, Sandy Doty & husband, Richard, of Wills Point; three brothers, James Edward Langford & wife, Martha, of Wylie, Don Langford & wife, Judy, of Greenville and Ricky Langford & wife, Joni, of Edgewood; two sisters, Pat Hooten, of Greenville and Vicky Lux, of Quinlan; nine grandchildren, Christina Ray, Alisha Doty, Crystal Doty, Bobby Gene Shaw, Michael Shaw, Kevin Shaw, Jennifer Shaw, Jeremy Shaw and Jonathan Shaw and seven great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
