Shirley F. Whitworth, 83, of Edgewood, Texas passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021, in Tyler, Texas.

Shirley was born on May 4, 1938, to the late William and Lela Scott in Kerens, Texas. She and her husband of 56 years Harold Whitworth shared a long-cherished marriage. Shirley enjoyed collecting and capturing old barn photos. She enjoyed reading history books and autobiographies. She also enjoyed listening to blue grass, going to garage sales, and visiting family near and far.

Shirley is survived by her sons, Nathan Whitworth and Jason and wife Chastity Whitworth; daughter Anita and husband Mike Maciel; grandchildren, Sharilyn Dickerson and Pat, Rusty Maciel, Zane Whatley, Jared Keels, Madison Pruett, and Tanner Whitworth; great-grandchildren, Courtney Hubbard and husband Dalton and Chris Dickerson; great-great-grandchildren, Scarlett and Charlie Hubbard; sister-in-law Dorothy Scott and best friend Rita Wilhite.

Shirley is preceded in death by her beloved husband; brothers, Robert Pipes and Richard Scott; sister Vesta Bynum and grandsons, Michael Maciel and Brian Maciel.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point, Texas. Visitation will be held one hour prior. Shirley will be laid to rest at Small Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at allanfullerfunearlhome.com.
