Memorial service for Everett Bee "Sonny" Findley, 78, of Wills Point is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Rev. Robert Brown officiating.
He passed away Wednesday night, May 30, 2018, at Crestwood Nursing Home in Wills Point surrounded by his family.
Sonny was born August 30, 1939, in Almyra, Arkansas, the son of Everett Scott Findley and Anna Bea Carnes Findley. He was raised in Dewitt, Arkansas, where he attended public school. On August 14, 1958, he married Patsy Arnold in Canton. In 1971, they moved to Wills Point. He was formerly employed as a truck driver for C & H Transportation and Flying H. Transportation in Dallas, retiring in 2003. After retirement, he was a jailer for the Wills Point Police Department for eight years. He enjoyed fishing, wood working and gambling. Sonny was a member of Seven Oaks Baptist Church north of Wills Point.
Preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Anna Bea Findley; three sisters and a sister-in-law, Shirley Brown.
Sonny is survived by his wife, Patsy Findley, of Wills Point; two daughters, Beverley Pearson & husband, Kyle, of Wills Point and Lisa Stewart & husband, Greg, of Euless; fourteen brothers and sisters; five grandchildren, Rachel Ramsey & husband, Hobby, Megan Findley Stewart and Blake, William Everett Scott Stewart, Kelsey Ann Crowson & husband, Daniel and Jennifer Ashley Arizpe & husband, Josue and four great-grandchildren, Rhyder Ramsey, Sawyer Crowson, Jacob Arizpe and Sofia Arizpe.
