Sylvia Loretta Nix, 88 of Forney, Texas passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023, at her residence.  Sylvia was born on January 5, 1935, in Munich, Germany to Joseph Waldmam and Loretta Sommer Huber.

Sylvia was raised in Mesquite, Tx. She was a graduate of Mesquite High School.  Sylvia married her beloved husband Bill Nix on August 28, 1954, in Rockwall, Texas.  She lived in Forney for 43 years. She was of the Catholic faith and a member of the Saint Martin of Tours in Talty, Texas.  Sylvia enjoyed the outdoors by doing yard work.  She was also an avid fan of former President Donald Trump.

Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Nix and son, Bobby Lee Jordan.

Sylvia leaves behind her children Johnny Mitchell and wife, Deb; Bill Nix and wife Nancy; Tim Nix and wife RaKay, Six Grandchildren -  Jason Mitchell, Santina Mitchell, Shawn Mitchell, Renee Mitchell, Nicholas Nix & Chad Jordan. 17 Great Grandchildren and Two Great-Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday March 9, 2023, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Mullin Fuller Funeral Home. Services will be on Friday March 10, 2023 at 11:00 am at Saint Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Talty, Texas. Burial will be following the services at Hillcrest Cemetery in Forney, TX
