Funeral services for Terry Dean Dawson, Sr., 59, of Dallas, formerly of Wills Point, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning, August 29, 2015 at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Bro. Jim Chitty officiating.

He passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015 in Dallas.

Terry was born February 27, 1956, in San Francisco, California, the son of Oliver Dawson and Peggy Dean Harvey Lewis. He was raised in Ft. Worth, where he graduated from Carter Riverside High School in 1974. He was married to Tyna Hennessy for eleven years and later married Melissa Robinson for twenty-five years. He was a maintenance supervisor for Cypress in Dallas. He lived in Wills Point for twenty-three years prior to moving to Dallas two years ago. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, collecting guns and spending time with his family.

Preceded in death by his father, Oliver Dawson; grandfather, Jewell Otto Harvey; grandmother, Lois Riddell and his step-father, Ron Lewis.

Terry is survived by a son, Terry Dawson, Jr. & wife, Miana Hoyt Dawson, of Williamsburg, MA; daughter, Stephanie Dawson Townsend & husband, Taylor, of Wills Point; daughter-in-law, Brittney Dawson, of Grapevine; mother, Peggy Lewis, of Ft. Worth; two brothers, Tim Dawson & wife, Pam, of Ft. Worth and Lonnie Lewis & wife, Katie, of Ft. Worth; sister, Peggy Cross & husband, Ray, of Ft. Worth and three grandchildren, Kennedy Grace Dawson, of Grapevine, Milo Hoyt Dawson, of Williamsburg, MA and Harrison Hoyt Dawson, of Williamsburg, MA.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, August 28, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
