Terry Allen Teel, Sr.

Terry Allen Teel, known to many as Ted, passed away on September 21, 2026, in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 84. He was born on February 21, 1942, in Wills Point, Texas.

Mr. Teel built a life marked by service, work, and enduring personal interests. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and he went on to establish himself professionally as an insurance and real estate broker with Teel Realty, retiring in 2007. His education included Wills Point High School, and he was a1960 graduate of Mesquite High School. On March 19, 2006, he married Norma Anderson in Sherman,Texas. He was also a member of the Jewish Community Center in Dallas, Texas.

Outside of his professional life, Ted found enjoyment in bodybuilding, classic cars, and antiques. These interests reflected his energy, appreciation for craftsmanship, and the distinct passions that helped define him to those who knew him. He was quick-witted and always had a way to make those around him laugh. Extremely loyal, he took deep pride in protecting and caring for his family.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Edwards Anderson. He also leaves behind his children, Tiffany Joy Teel, Benjamin David Teel, Amanda Sarah Teel, Terry Allen Teel, Jr. and his wife, Gillian, and Edward John Anderson and his wife, Meredith. Those who loved him will remember him as a devoted husband, father, and family man whose presence will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Travis Teel; his mother, Ruby McLemore; his brothers, Raymond Teel and Jerry Teel; and his sisters, Imogene Miller, Ruby Eppler, and Linda Frazier.

A funeral service will be held on September 25, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home, 205 Corky Boyd Ave, Wills Point, Texas 75169. A graveside service will follow from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at White Rose Cemetery, Post Oak Road, Wills Point, Texas 75169.

Terry Allen Teel’s life touched his family, friends, and community, and his memory will be held with love and respect by all who knew him.
