Thelma J. Stallings, 78, of Mesquite, Texas, passed away on December 13, 2023. She was born on July 14, 1945, in Edgewood, Texas. Thelma was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Thelma was a woman who loved life and embraced it with joy. She had a fun-loving spirit and a deep love for God. Thelma found comfort and solace in her faith, and she was of the Baptist faith.

In her spare time, Thelma found great joy in reading the Bible.  It was through the scriptures that she found inspiration, guidance, and strength. Thelma's love for reading the Bible was a testament to her deep faith and her desire to grow spiritually.  She also enjoyed spending time and caring for her four-legged friend, whom she named "Puppy".

Thelma is survived by her daughter, Kim Seitz, her brother, Merle Stallings, her sister-in-laws:  Sandra Morris, Mable Stallings, and Carlene Stallings, her granddaughter, Dana Williams, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Roper Stallings, her mother, Inez Morris, her stepfather, LeeRoy Morris, her brothers, Junior Morris, and Willie Stallings.

Thelma Stallings will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched with her kindness, love, and unwavering faith. May she rest in peace.
