Thomas Hardy Dewey, 66, of Trinidad, passed away Friday, March 2, 2018, in Athens.  No services are planned at this time.  Burial will be at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery near Canton on Tuesday, March 6, 2018.  Arrangements are under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Thomas was born September 5, 1951, in Dallas, the son of Lafond Ellsworth Dewey and Alva Louise Colston Dewey.  He was raised in Mesquite, where he attended public school. For the past few years, he had lived in Trinidad and Cedar Creek.  In his spare time, he enjoyed cooking, fishing and watching football.  Thomas was of the Baptist faith

Thomas is survived by his significant other, Helen Holt, of Trinidad; daughter, Toni Dewey Huggins, of Canton; two brothers, Mike Dewey, of Mesquite and Elwood Huggins, of College Station; three sisters, Renee Bailey & husband, Barlow, of Canton, Diane Parks, of College Station and Elizabeth Day & husband, Harry, of Wills Point and four grandchildren, Kendall, Macy, Ace and McKenna.
