Thomas "Ricky" Huff, a beloved resident of Wills Point, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on November 25, 2024, at the age of 67. Born on February 15, 1957, in Wills Point, Ricky was the cherished son of the late Betty Lou and Thomas Rex Huff.
Ricky attended Wills Point High School and went on to dedicate over two decades of his career to Goodyear in Terrell, Texas, where he was known for his hard work and commitment. He enjoyed spending his days fishing, target shooting, and cheering for his favorite sports teams, the Texas Rangers and the Green Bay Packers. He cherished the time spent with his grandchildren.
Ricky was a man of humor and warmth, known for his funny and goofy nature. He was a jokester at heart, always ready to bring a smile to those around him. Above all, he was a devoted family man, deeply committed to his loved ones.
On May 24, 1985, Ricky married Robbie Huff, with whom he shared many wonderful years until her passing. He is survived by his sons, Thomas "Joshua" Huff and Timothy Murphy (Brittani); his daughter, Traci Huff (Tony "Monroe" Smith); and his grandchildren, Thomas Jaden Huff, Tony Smith, and Trinity Smith. He also leaves behind children he loved as great-grandchildren: Zoe Nelson, Joey Nelson, and Emily Nelson. Ricky is also survived by his brother, Gary Gordon, his sister, Kathy Spindle (Melvin), and life-long friend and mother to his children, Patti Kirby.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Robbie; his parents; his sisters, Carol Sims and Betty "Sue" Clemmons; and his granddaughter, Courteney Huff.
Services are scheduled for Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home; 1:00 p.m. visitation, funeral service at 2:00 p.m. and a graveside service at Bright Star Cemetery in Wills Point following the funeral service.
