Thomas Albert Jones, of Elmo, TX, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020, in Dallas, at the age of 91.

Thomas was born on December 6, 1928, to Mary and William Jones in Corinth, Louisiana. He spent his younger years in Louisiana, moving to Elmo over 50 years ago. Thomas joined the Navy on February 11, 1946. He enjoyed working on cars, had a love for music, and playing his guitar. There wasn't a summer that went by that he didn't take his family on a vacation; his wheels were always on the road.

To cherish his memories, Thomas leaves behind his wife, Linda Jones, of Terrell; sons, Douglas Lee Jones and James Marty Jones; daughter, Charlene Jones; grandchildren, Chad David Comstock, Wendi Jones, Bryan Medlock, Katrina Jones, Gina Sims, and Amber Kirby; numerous loving grandchildren, relatives, and friends.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Myrie Woods; son, Thomas Jones, Jr., and great grandson, Dawson Medlock.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 23, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Elmo Cemetery in Elmo, Texas.
