Funeral services for Timothy James Rhoades, Jr., 37, of Seagoville, formerly of Mabank, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills with Pastor Larry Reneau officiating.  Interment will be at Cana Cemetery south of Wills Point.

He passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018, in Seagoville.

James was born December 13, 1980, in Mesquite, the son of Timothy James Rhoades, Sr. and Deeanna Sue Temple Rhoades.  He was raised in Mabank and Eustace and attended Eustace High School.  James was self-employed in the tree trimming & landscaping business located in Seagoville.  In his spare time, he enjoyed riding dirt bikes, fishing, gaming and taking care of animals.

Preceded in death by his grandmother, Francis Lankford and an uncle, Carl Briggs.

James is survived by his father, Tim Rhoades & wife, Tina, of Mabank; mother, Deeanna Bell & husband, Larry, of Mabank; step-dad, Mike Briggs, of Balch Springs; brother, Michael Briggs & wife, Stephanie, of Seagoville; grandparents, Dorothy Briggs, of Balch Springs and Alvin & Jocile Temple, of Canton; nephew, Michael Briggs, Jr., of Seagoville and a niece, Cheyenne Briggs, of Seagoville.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
