Timothy Eric Sockwell, 74, of Edgewood, Texas passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022, in Tyler.

Tim was born on January 6, 1948, in Wills Point, Texas to the late Chester and Jane Sockwell. Tim spent all of his life as a resident of Wills Point. He met Cheryl Hyde while going to ETSU in Commerce. They married on November 3, 1973, in Dallas, Texas. Tim worked at Terrell State Hospital as an RN for several years. He enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter.

Tim is preceded in death by his parents.

Tim leaves behind his wife Cheryl Sockwell of Edgewood; daughter Julie Valentine and husband Bryce of Edgewood; son Eric Sockwell of Edgewood; and granddaughter Allison Valentine.
