**Tommy Gary Gorman, 88**

October 1, 1936 – September 9, 2025

Tommy Gary Gorman, 88, of Wills Point, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025. Born on October 1, 1936, in Eustace, Texas, he was raised in the Kerens and Navarro County area and lived a life marked by dedication to family, hard work, and a warm sense of humor that endeared him to all who knew him.

A proud graduate of Kerens High School in the Class of 1955, Tommy went on to serve his country as a veteran of the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he built a long and steady career as a truck driver for many companies. His work ethic and reliability were hallmarks of his professional life until his retirement more than 25 years ago.

On September 6, 1956, Tommy married Priscilla Scott. Their union was one of enduring love and partnership until her passing. Together they built a family rooted in strong values and shared joy.

Tommy was known for his sweet nature and gentle spirit. He had a knack for mechanics and loved working on cars—a skill that made him both handy and helpful to those around him. Fishing was one of his favorite pastimes, offering him peace and enjoyment throughout the years. Perhaps most memorably, he had a humorous streak that shone brightest when he was teasing or joking with the kids—always in good fun and always with love.

Tommy is survived by his daughter Cindy Miller; son Gary Gorman and his wife Linda; grandchildren Tommy Frank; Michelle Hignight; Kim Frank; Monica White and her husband Jonathan; and Michael Hignight; great-granddaughter Makayla Michaelson along with eight additional great-grandchildren; as well as numerous great-great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Priscilla Scott Gorman; parents Budo Gorman and Willis Ione Harper Gorman; daughter Sharon Frank; son Bobby Gorman; son-in-law Robert Miller; sisters Delores DeFranco and Billie Lou Sheets.

Tommy's legacy lives on through the generations of family who carry forward his kindness, humor, and strength. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
