Funeral services for U. H. Morgan, Jr., 87, of Dallas, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 2, 2015, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Mr. Russell Harris officiating. Interment will follow at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point.
He passed away Friday night, January 30, 2015 in a Dallas hospital.
U.H. was born November 2, 1927, in Abilene, Texas, the son of Urban Hearte Morgan, Sr. and Fern Desmond Lott Morgan. He was raised in Sweetwater, where he attended school. U.H. was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Korean Conflict. On November 1, 1953, he married Peggy Mae McGehee in Terrell. He was employed by the Dallas Times Herald for several years as a type setter and in 1963, he owned and operated The Exterminator Company in Dallas. U.H. lived most of his life in Dallas. He enjoyed playing black jack, poker, going to garage sales and watching the Dallas Cowboys. He was of the Baptist faith.
Preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Peggy Mae Morgan on May 8, 2003; son, William Morgan on March 6, 2008 and a sister, Alice Griffith.
U.H. is survived by a son, Kevin Morgan, of Dallas; daughter, Lisa Morgan Killian, of Dallas; daughter-in-law, Melissa Morgan Zabbia; brother-in-law, Claude McGehee, of Terrell; sister, Cookie Nicholette, of Farmers Branch and three grandchildren, Zachary Ryan Killian, Jacob Keith Morgan and Quentin Campbell.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service.
