Private memorial service for Waltraud Hedwig Pleasant, 81, of Rowlett will be held on February 13, 2016. Arrangements are under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.
She passed away Monday evening, February 1, 2016 at her residence.
Waltraud was born July 10, 1934, in Nuremberg, Germany. She was raised in Nuremberg, where she attended school. On August 13, 1965, she married James Robert Pleasant. Waltraud owned and operated Silver Wings Restaurant in Killeen, retiring in 1993. She enjoyed crocheting. Waltraud lived in Garland prior to moving to Rowlett in 2006. She was of the Lutheran faith.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Robert Pleasant and a son, James Robert Pleasant, II.
Waltraud is survived by her daughter, Jeannette Pleasant, of Rowlett; brother, Willie Rushmann, of Germany; three sisters, Crystal, Hilda and Gretal and Markeith Pleasant, Micha Pleasant and Malik Pleasant.
