Wanda Lee Goforth, 48, passed away on February 7, 2026, in Rowlett, Texas. Born on August 10, 1977, in Dallas, Texas, Wanda brought warmth and laughter into the lives of those around her from the very beginning.

Wanda earned her GED from Navarro County College in 1994, demonstrating her determination and commitment to personal growth. She was known for her sharp intellect and quick wit—traits that made her both engaging and memorable to those who knew her.

A woman of many talents and passions, Wanda loved to cook and found joy in preparing meals for others. Her creativity extended to crocheting, where she crafted with care and attention to detail. She also enjoyed the quiet challenge of crossword puzzles, a pastime that reflected her intelligence and love for words.

Wanda was deeply intuitive and giving by nature. Her sense of humor brightened even the darkest days, and her generosity left a lasting impression on all who crossed her path. As the first granddaughter in her family, she held a special place in the hearts of many.

She is lovingly remembered by her sister, April Bailey; niece, Erianna Bailey; aunts and uncles Bobby & Barbara Goforth, Bonnie Corne and Todd Sedor, Billy & Carol Goforth, and Charles Dee & Cathy Martin; as well as numerous cousins and second cousins who will cherish their memories with her.

Wanda was preceded in death by her mother Audrey Ann Mellville and grandparents Charles and Wanda Martin of Wills Point.

Her memory will live on through the stories shared by those who knew her best. May her spirit continue to inspire kindness, laughter, and love. Wanda Lee is in the Arms of Jesus and no longer suffering.
