Wanda June McNeill, a loving and generous soul, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2023, in Mesquite, Texas. Born on November 25, 1931, in Kaufman County, she was a beacon of selflessness and kindness throughout her life.

Wanda was the cherished daughter of the late Hubbery and Lillie Furh, and the beloved wife of the late Joe G A McNeill. She was predeceased by her sisters, Voncile and Nioma, and her grandson, Zackary Daniels. Wanda is survived by her son, Monty McNeill and his wife, Neuza, and her daughter, Tami Daniels. She was a doting grandmother to Lacy McNeill, Kaci Daniels, Stephanie Daniels and Ricky Daniels Jr., and a proud great-grandmother to Yolanda Brito, Maci Rojo, Naomi Daniels, Zackary Daniels, Jr., Rebel Daniels, Emma Daniels, Eric Spelbring, Bobby Wayne Peterson, Ricky Daniels III and Asher Daniels.

Raised in Kaufman County, Wanda graduated from Wilmer High School in 1949. She was a hardworking and dedicated individual who began her career as a Secretary with JB Miles in Oak Cliff. After years of diligent service, she retired from Agape Home Health in 2013. Wanda was a woman of faith, steadfast in her beliefs as a member of the Baptist Church.

Wanda's life was characterized by her love for her family and her passion for cooking. She found immense joy in spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her kitchen was the heart of her home, filled with the aroma of her delicious meals and the sound of laughter. Wanda's generosity extended beyond her family, touching the lives of everyone she met.

In remembering Wanda, we celebrate a life lived with love, generosity, and selflessness. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and all those who were fortunate enough to know her. Wanda June McNeill was a remarkable woman who will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel at Mullin Fuller Funeral Home on Monday November 6, 2023, at 10:00 AM, visitation one hour prior to service. Burial to follow at White Rose Cemetery.
