Wayne Christian Moody, 88, a longtime resident of Duncanville, Texas went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 9, 2022.

Wayne was born on March 17, 1934, to Hazel and Myrtle Moody in Waco, Texas. Wayne attended school at Waco Tech University High where he graduated in 1953. He then went to Texas State Technical Institute. Wayne married his wife Mary Jeannine Fritze on May 20, 1954, in Waco, Texas. Together they moved to Duncanville from Waco in 1961. Wayne worked at LTV, owned & operated Accent Printing and Office Supply, American Die Supply and American Mortuary Service. He retired in 2006 from Accent Printing and Office Supply. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Duncanville for 61 years. Wayne enjoyed being with family, visiting with his coffee buddies, attending Sunday school, fishing and watching movies. He volunteered his time with Meals on Wheels and was a part of the Lions Club and Chamber of Commerce.

Wayne leaves behind his daughter Sherry White and son Steven Moody; grandchildren, Brichelle and husband David Smith, Caleb and wife Kelsie Moody and Luke Moody; great-grandchildren, Preston, Clark and Ford Smith and Hadley Moody; and many other loving relatives and friends.

Wayne is preceded in death by his wife Jeannine Moody; parents Hazel and Myrtle Moody; brothers, Charles Moody and Ed Moody; and sister Martha Stephens.
