William Marshall Doughty, 67, of Greenville, Texas, passed away August 26, 2021, in Greenville.

Willy was born August 4, 1954, in Fulton, Kentucky to the late Fred Dwayne Doughty and Rosetta Musser Doughty.  He was raised in New Concord, Kentucky.  Willy was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.  He married Elizabeth Sherman and they were married for 34 years.  He was a construction contractor for many years and later worked for Parker Ford in Murray, Kentucky where he retired in 2010.  He moved to Texas about 3 years ago, settling in Greenville.  Willy enjoyed NASCAR, wrestling, law shows, hunting, fishing and playing with his grandbabies.  He was of the Baptist faith.

Willy is survived by his son, Tony Doughty & wife, Alison, of Texas; daughter, Lisa Phillips & husband, Brent, of Kentucky; four brothers, Tommy Doughty & wife, Phyliss, Keith Doughty & wife, Ginger, Rodger Doughty and Sydney Doughty & wife, Mel, all of Kentucky; sister, Tina Cruz and five grandchildren, Shaun, Payton, Hunter, Johnny and James.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Michael Doughty and sister Rosie Cotton.
