Willie James, Jr., 68, of Athens, Texas, passed away on April 25, 2024. He was born on August 27, 1955, to Willie Andrew Sr. and Laura James.

Willie, known for his love of the outdoors through hunting and fishing, also enjoyed playing pool. He served in the United States Air Force in his early years and later worked as a heavy machinery operator at Midwest Steel.

He is survived by his wife, Anita James; one son, Jerry "Sonny" Pruiett; four daughters, Cindy Reynolds (husband Darrell), Kristy Musser (husband John), Erica Ladrini (husband Jason), and Mariann James (husband Jay); four sisters, Susie Daniels, Debbie Martin, Penny McEnturff, and Judy Rose; 18 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Barbara, brother-in-law David Daniels, and nephew Ricky Daniels.

Services are pending at this time and are entrusted to Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point, Texas.
