Funeral services for Willie Mae Malone, 100, of Wills Point are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Rev. Don Tisdale officiating. Interment will follow at Cana Cemetery south of Wills Point.
She passed away early Saturday morning, September 5, 2015, in Wills Point.
Willie Mae was born in the Fairview Community south of Wills Point, the daughter of Alvin E. Jordan and Ada L. Wright Jordan. She was raised in Wills Point, where she attended public school. On August 7, 1937, she married Adell F. Malone in Wills Point. Willie Mae was a beautician and had been employed by Mrs. Ray's Beauty Shop in Dallas. She enjoyed yard work and going to garage sales. Willie Mae celebrated her 100th birthday this year. She attended First Baptist Church in Wills Point.
Preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Ada Jordan; husband, Adell F. Malone; son, David R. Malone; brother, Edgar Jordan and a sister, Thelma Jordan.
Willie Mae is survived by a son, Paul Malone & wife, Farie, of Denton; four grandchildren, Steven Malone, Michael Malone, Robert Malone and Janet Malone; six great-grandchildren, Ava, Chad, Amy, Kimberly, Kevin and Kyle and five great-great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service.
